stem is one of two main structural axes of a vascular plant, the other being the root. The stem is normally divided into nodes and internodes: The nodes hold one or more leaves, as well as buds which can grow into branches (with leaves, conifer cones, or inflorescences (flowers)).

My name was given to me from Divine origin. Jasmine Burns. My name is my life sentence, and burn I do.

There’s something intrinsically beautiful about flowers, visually appealing if not distracting at times. I happen to like roots and leaves too.

For many years I planted myself in STEM, deciding that the Hard sciences would refine me, and provide me the tools needed to bloom.

I’m not a fish, so I don’t do well in schools. But a Bloom? Bio-luminescence sounds a lot cooler wouldn’t you agree? Divergence, of thoughts and ideas. Word associations and analogies. This language I’ve constructed, the language I write and speak in, is idiosyncratic. It’s part of the Asperger’s. A sort of self-obsession. There’s a reason I love flowers.

But as I bloom, I burn (花火). Autoimmunity is nothing short of internal inflammation. And my passion manifests physically. A type of psychosomasis. Asperger’s is an autoimmune condition, first and foremost. Behaviorial Psychologists haven’t figured that out yet.

Sometimes I get so excited that my nervous system goes on the fritz, and I seize. Or maybe I really liked a theorem in a math class I’m attending, so I cry. My neurosensitivity manifests in many ways.
